Bleach timeline

I found this today while I was looking around the web and it really shocked me. Anyone who calls themself a Bleach fan might be interested in this.

PS. From Ichigo, Chad and Uryu entering Hueco Mundo to Ichigo defeating Aizen happening in one day. :O No way lol.

I was really curious how the anime would react to this arc and I thought it was a bit odd. I liked that they made it feel like the first series of Bleach all over again where they are all just students and the comedy was back again. What I thought was really odd though was how unlike Bleach it felt. To me it could have just been any other slice of life anime which I’m not normally to keen on but this seemed to work somehow. Even the opening theme and majority of the video gave it the feel of a day-to-day life of students in a school. That’s not to say I think it was bad, I enjoyed the episode. It just felt different.

I give this episode 6 out of 10.

[Spoilers]

I understand that this is a new arc so the plot has to get started and since I read the manga I already know what will happen for a couple of months ahead but seeing the story in motion I realised I really don’t like some of the new design choices. I think Tatsuki’s hair looks really odd like the long bit at the back is just clipped on. I also don’t like how Orihime’s hair parts at the back though I do like the new fringe. Uryu’s new look though I really like. Much better than the old one anyway. I like how the design of Ichigo hasn’t changed at all since it gives us some familiarity with the Bleach of old.

As for the fullbringers, Since most of them haven’t spoken yet I can’t judge them on their voices yet but I’ll tell you something that looks really weird when you move from manga to anime. Jackie being black. That’s something I wasn’t ready for since she doesn’t look overly black in the manga. Anyway I guess we just have to wait and see what happens with the fullbringers. Hopefully their characters or back story will be fleshed out a bit more in the anime since we have been with them for over a year in the manga and we still know nothing about them. All in all though, a fair episode but nothing too exciting.

Hey guys. I’m really sorry this was so late but I really havn’t had time up until just now to sit and watch the episode but I’m hear now so yay. Anyway about the episode, what a weird one it was. I know this is near the start of a brand now arc but quite a few new questions were put out into the open to get our thinking caps on. I’m really interested in where this arc is going to go and who will be the eventual winner of the S class rank if the compotition even gets that far since in anime like this they tend to get interupted. I thought this was a good series and as usual in this series, had moments that made me laugh, mainly the tal.king monster Natsu beat up.

I give this chapter a 7 out of 10.

[Spiolers]

Well we finished the first round of the compotition and I was 50/50 on who would go though between Gray and Mest but I,m glad Gray did. I also thought he really suited the pink shirt he was wearing instead of him being topless like normal. Mest though, I dont know what to think of him. It looks like he is going to be the bad guy of this series and it looks like he has some memory altering powers he used to make the rest of the guild believe he has been there all along. I don’t know what to make of him yet as a villain but I’ll make up my mind when we find out more about him.

The other big shocker in this episode wwas the guy with the death powers at the end of the episode and why he knows Natsu but Natsu doesn’t know him. It’s c;ear this guy isn’t a baddy because he tried moving to a deserted island so he wouldn’t kill anyone but the fact he knows Natsu makes me wonder if he is a past member of the guild or if he could be a reincarnation of some kind of Igneel. Just a few thoughts though. I’m happy with the members of the guild who made it through to the next round and I want to see some more of Levi cos I don’t really know what it is that she does when it comes to finghting. She just seems to be able to undo spells that other people have cast but what can she do herself. Oh well, thanks for being patient and don’t worry, my Bleach review should be up tomorrow.

These fillers in the anime at the moment have been very hit and miss and this one was definatly a miss. It was unintersting, unfunny and confusing. After this episode I can’t wait for the story to get back to the manga and get off this stupid boat. Hopefully this is going to happen soon since there was a new opening and ending this week. Actually, I dont know what to make of the new songs. They didn’t make me think I like or dislike them. It was like they were just there because they have to be.

I’m giving this disappointing episode 4 out of 10.

[Spoilers]

Something good about this episode is fans of Shikamaru and Tenten get to see their favourate characters again. They both did what they do best and we even got a little better look at what Shikamaru’s real feelings about the upcoming war are. Tenten also got some rarely seen time to shine in this episode which I personaly like to see.

As for the episode its self, I was confussed about how the people from the island managed to get the boat to stay in the bay. Even if there was some fog, the sailors of the boat will know if they are going in a straight line or not and fog would not effect the compass in the way it did. Also, why did Naruto, Yamato and Guy get so tired after using their techniques 3 times when they use them multiple times in a battle without showing any sign of fatigue. This episode is full of plot holes used to move the plot on as soon as possible.

A good fight scene in Bleach. Wow it’s been a while but thats what we finally got in this chapter and its nice to see it was something different from anything we normally see in Bleach. This was the best chapter since the soul reapers showed up for action. Both Hitsugaya and Ikkaku stepped up their game and really showed off what makes them some of the best fighters in the soul society. The past few fights like Renji’s and Kenpachi’s showed off that the soul reapers have gotten stronger since the time skip but it wasn’t much of a specticle. It just showed that the fullbringers are as weak as a lot of people thought they were anyway. But now we are getting somewhere.

I give this chapter 7 out of 10.

[Spoilers]

We kick off with Hitsugaya showing just why he is one of the fan faves. There he is with the chance to put Yukio out of commision but gives him a chance to save himself by freezing most of his body in ice unless he takes down the ‘game rooms’ everyone is in. Its nice to see a bit of tactics rather then straight out killing. The real star of the chapter though is Ikkaku. We saw before that he is crazy srong with the ability to undislocate his sholder just with his muscles alone but this chapter he turned into a right beast.

After his Hozukimaru is smashed by mohawk guy I thought he may have to go into bankai but I never expected a full on fist fight in Bleach. Ichigo has punched people in the human world before in flash backs but it hasn’t been a main fight in the series before. I gotta admit though, it was a lot funner to see then more of the other fights in the series. For once theirs no blocking with a sword. Is they get hit they get hit and it’s gonna hurt but even though Ikkaku the the other guy in in peices they still keep going at each other. The ending reminded me of the classic Naruto vs Gaara fight with a simple head butt deciding the outcome. All in all a better chapter then we have had fight wise in a long time.

Finally, a chapter that made me excited again. I know a lot of people disagree with me on this but I think since this forth great ninja war started every chapter seems to meld into one and it doesn’t bring out the excitment it once did. There are so many new characters and techniques being introduced in such a short space of time and so quickly that I dont have tome to get to know them. Luckily, this chapter slowed the pace down a bit and give me a chance to catch up.

I’m gonna give this chapter a 6 out of 10.

[Spoilers]

Now that the french looking guy has been sealed in the pyramid we can hopefully get onto a more intersting fight. I liked the fact that we got to see how battles were going all over the world and not only focusing on one battle in particular. Plus now Naruto is everywhere the fights are hopefully going to get really intense. I laughed when it showed Sakura for the first time in a while and I didn’t recognise her. I started thinking ‘oh great another new character’ until it clicked it was her. Haha. Shows have important she is to the story.

The cliffhanger hasn’t left me with anitisipation for the next chapter though. Like I said, a new technique every fecking week is getting old so whatever this Kuchiyose No Jutsu that the mummy guy is, you just know within 2 week he’ll be sealed away like the rest of them. I’m sorry but Masashi Kishimoto needs to step up his game. Here’s hoping this week is the start of the turn around needed at the moment in this manga.

Well this is a bit of an odd place to start my reviews ain’t it. At the end haha. Well after nearly 5 years this arc is actually over and I really loved this episode. Everything about it seemed just right. The art style, the pacing and most of all we were shown just how much Ichigo and Rukia mean to each other. I’m an IchiRuki fan and this episode was like gold dust to me.

I’m giving this episode 8 out of 10.

[Spoilers]

My fave scene has to be the ice skating one because for the first time ever, Keigo made me laugh out loud. Seriously, that guy has annoyed me all throughout the show but this time he actually got me chuckling. The highlight however goes to the interaction between Ichigo and Rukia. I actualy thought they may hug or even kiss at one point which I seemed like the right thing to do at the time but I guess that would have made half the fan base run to their nearest keyboard and leave angry comments haha.

One complaint I do have though is the way the show handled Ichigo losing sight of Rukia at the end. It was way too rushed and seemed like it had been added on to pad out the episode an extra few minutes and not actually written by Kubo himeself. I believe the manga handled this scene so much better and more powerfully. They have been through so much together in the few months they have known each other so they shouldn’t say goodbye like 2 friends who just went for a coffee together and are gonna see each other the next day. For all Ichigo knows he will never see her again.

Anyway I can’t wait till next week with the start of the fullbring arc just to see what the new characters are going to sound like so I guess I’ll see you then.

Oryt guys and gals. Thanks for popping in on my blog. Just giving you all a heads up on what to expect here. I’m an avid anime and manga follower and have been for many years but very few people around me in real life have any interest in them so I’m sharing my passion with some cyber friends. Here I’m gonna give my opinions on the latest epiodes and chapters of the series I follow as they come out and every so often i will stick in a special little feature to mix things up. But I arn’t writing this for you guys to just read and sit back. I want some feedback. I wanna know if you agree or disagree with my opinions. I wanna have a bit of banter.

Anyway. The manga I’m reading at the moment are:

Naruto

Bleach

And the anime I’m following are:

Naruto Shippuden

Bleach

Fairy Tail

I know they are predictable series to follow but I’ll also comment on other series I have followed all the way through and give a few sugestions. Anyway. Thanks again and enjoy.
